The 2018 Racing Season has kicked off for 3V Racing. We are glad to have new members and to see many of our prior athletes return. It's going to be a great year.

The first race of the season was the Rock 'n Roll New Orleans Marathon on March 3, 2018. Head coach Dave Mudek turned in a blazing 2:59:50 to take 4th of 146 in his age group. And this was "just a training run." The real story of this weekend is coach Noah Sandler, who completed his 101st marathon. He finished in 3:51:35 and 7th of 94 in his age group. Coach Noah is still with the team as a run coach, and we're glad to have him. We'll see how long this "retirement" thing lasts. As always, the race was powered by tiramisu!

Jeff Krebs turned in an awesome performance at the San Diego Half Marathon on March 11th with a 1:34:08. He earned an age group podium, 3rd place out of 167, 130 out of 2660 men, and 164 out of 5816 runners total!
Brendon Terry stepped into the cycling world and raced his first criterium road race in Lawrence, KS at the Spring Fling series. He got his head handed to him but had a great time.
Next up on April 8th, Jeff Krebs and Brandon Goodermont will both take on Ironman 70.3 Oceanside in sunnny California, while Dave Mudek will be going for another Ironman 70.3 Wolrds qualification at IM 70.3 Galveston.
