Congratulations to our 3V athletes whom were out crushing it this weekend racing everything from Olympic distance triathlons to grueling ultra marathons. We had Steven Conroy, Brandon Goodermont, Jeff Welling, Jessica Pekari and Brendon Terry all out racing and representing Triple Victor!
Jessica Pekari was 4th overall female at the point to point race, Cactus to Clouds 50k in New Mexico. The race boasted over 9,000 feet of elevation gain with the race taking place at an elevation of 8-9,000 feet throughout. Only a true ultra-endurance athlete would consider a feat like this a blessing. Jessica said about the race "I was blessed to get in the toughest 50k I have yet to run. Although the climbing was grueling and the terrain was extremely technical, the views from atop were breathtaking and well worth the suffering."

On Saturday, 13 May 2017, Steven Conroy finish 20th in age group at the IRONMAN Santa Rosa 70.3 out in California. Steven set a new 70.3 personal record with a smoking fast 4:58. Pretty impressive given the tough conditions. After facing the swim the athletes got to battle a bike in 43 degree weather followed by a tough run.
Brandon Goodermont was out in California getting after it as well. Brandon took 9th in age group at the LA Tri Series Olympic.

Jeff Welling finished 6th in age group at the Dirty Spokes 3-Hour Mountain Bike Race in Georgia.
On Sunday, 14 May 2017 we had Brendon Terry finish the KC Olympic in a 2:19 for a PR at that distance and 6th place AG finish.
