I have a Masters Degree in Physical Education and Bachelors Degree in Sports and Health Science. I served as a medic in the army for 4 years and currently work as a PE Teacher for grades K-6. I have a strong passion for trail running and ultras. I qualified for the 2018, 70.3 Ironman World Champions thanks to the coaching of Dave Mudek of 3V. I placed 1st at the Brazos Bend 100 miler this past December. I also placed 2nd at the Lonestar 100 miler in February. My ultimate goal of the year is to become the second female to complete the triple crown which contains three 200 mile ultras within 3 months.
